A multi-party opposition conference convened by the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) decided to form a national political alliance of the opposition in the name of Pakistan Democratic Alliance. Opposition parties also announced to launch a protest movement against the government till transparent elections in the country.
The 26-point resolution was unanimously passed in the multi-party conference of the opposition, according to which a national political alliance will be formed under the name of Pakistan Democratic Alliance. It was decided to form a committee to formulate the Charter of Pakistan. Determining the direction of the state, the coalition will launch an organized protest movement to get rid of the poor enemy government.
The resolution, passed at the multi-party conference, called for transparent, free and fair elections in the country, and condemned the nefarious intention to introduce a presidential system in the country.
The text of the resolution said that this (PTI) elected government is responsible for the fall of Kashmir, elections should be held in Gilgit-Baltistan without interference, political revenge and members arrested in false cases were released Stop making people. The multi-party conference of opposition parties in its resolution endorsed the APC resolution of the Pakistan Bar Council while condemning the abolition of local bodies in Punjab, cuts in higher education budget by the government as well as Aghaz-e-Haqooq Balochistan. It was also demanded to ensure implementation and restore civil authority in place of FC in Balochistan
Opposition parties have decided in principle to launch an anti-government movement. The coalition of opposition parties has been dubbed the ‘Pakistan Democratic Alliance’. Protests and public rallies will be held in October during the nationwide anti-government protest movement in which all opposition Parties will participate.
According to sources, the country will demand free and fair new elections, anti-government protests in December and a long march towards Islamabad in January 2021, the government will only be given time until January. If new elections are not held, sit-ins or marches will be started, during which there will be an option to resign from the assemblies.
