The corona virus has claimed the lives of 63 more people in Pakistan, with more than 2,000 people infected in 24 hours, bringing the total number of corona cases in the country to 469,482 and deaths to 9,816.

According to the latest figures released by the National Command and Operations Center (NCOC), corona tests were performed on 36,909 people in the last 24 hours, confirming the virus in 2,260 people. Another 63 patients lost their lives due to the outbreak.

According to the NCOC, the number of active cases of corona in Pakistan has reached 39,177 at present, out of which 2,840 patients are being treated in hospitals while 316 are on ventilator. The condition of 2,357 patients undergoing treatment in hospitals is said to be critical. Is.

Sindh is the province most affected by Corona where 299,429 people have been affected by the epidemic so far, the number of Corona cases in Punjab has reached 135,141 and in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa 56,875, 36,000 in Islamabad. 981, 18,061 in Balochistan, 8,148 in Azad Kashmir and 4,847 in Gilgit-Baltistan have been affected by the epidemic.

According to the NCOC, the rate of positive corona cases in the country is gradually declining. In the last one day, the rate of positive corona cases at the national level was recorded at 6.12%. If we talk about positive corona cases at the provincial level, In Kashmir, the rate is 14.33 per cent, while Sindh recorded 7.83 per cent, Punjab 5.65 per cent, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa 5.54 per cent and Balochistan 4.24 per cent positive corona cases.
